I recently had the privilege of supporting my local animal shelter by donating a pet portrait to its annual fundraising auction. I was pleasantly surprised by the outpouring of love from people who attended, and even more so by the very large sum that a kind and generous pet lover was willing to pay to have a portrait painted of their pet. Our pets are members of our families, whether they are dogs, cats, birds, lizards, turtles, fish, or whatever! We fall in love with our furry friends, and are heartbroken when they are gone. They live on in our hearts and make a life-long impact on our lives. What a wonderful gift a pet portrait would be for your favorite pet lover! If you would like a pet portrait done as a Christmas gift, time is running out. It takes time to create a work of art, and time for the oil paint to dry. Don't wait! Contact me today for more information. [email protected] (I paint people too!)

Congratulations to Kimberly Tortorici from Illinois, whose name was drawn from all of my email newsletter subscribers for a chance to win an original oil painting. Kimberly is the recipient of my oil painting, Two Become One, shown here. The drawing was held October 15. It took a few days to hear from Kimberly, who was very excited, and a bit skeptical. She said she thought she had received a spam message. I understand! In today's world, people need to be a bit careful!

I'd like to thank everyone who subscribed to my newsletter, and remind you that I'll be drawing for another winner in November! If you would like a chance to win, sign up to receive my newsletter on the home page of my website here: https://www.kathleeneatonart.com.
